The Ontario mineral industry has some excellent resources, and many sites offer either outreach programs or field trip opportunities.. They have websites that you can visit.

Aggregate Producers Association of Ontario has a useful site that has several useful features for teachers, including definitions, statistics, and more. They also have a page on their site for booking school tours with member organizations across Ontario.

Ontario Petroleum Institute has a limited site at this point, but does have contact information.

PDAC Mining Matters (Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Mining Matters) is a charitable organization which has some excellent Ontario-specific resources for Grade 4 and 7 teachers in particular teaching the Earth Sciences.
